What is JOSCAR?
JOSCAR is a cross-sector collaborative accreditation system used by major companies in the defence, aerospace, and security sectors to assess and manage supplier compliance. It is managed by Hellios Information and used by prime contractors and major buyers such as BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Leonardo, MBDA, QinetiQ, and the Ministry of Defence, among others.
The goal of JOSCAR is to streamline the supplier qualification process, reduce duplication of information requests, and ensure that suppliers meet the highest standards in quality, cybersecurity, health & safety, environmental responsibility, and business ethics.
