Materials used in our foundry processes
Below is a list of metals we can sand and die-cast, along with the various grades and standards we can produce. We also offer heat treatment and annealing upon request and can provide a complete list of alloys upon request.
Aluminum
We can die and sand cast aluminium alloys to LM Series, BSL (Aerospace), EN AC, AFNOR, and DIN SPEC standards.
Steel
We can sand cast carbon steels (Grades A1, A2, and A3) and carbon manganese steel (Grades A4, A5, and A6).
Irons
We can sand cast a variety of iron grades, including grey cast irons (Grades 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 23, and 26), ductile irons (Grades 900/2, 800/2, 700/3, 600/3, 500/7, 450/10, 420/12, 400/18, and 350/22), high-silicon irons (Grades Si 10, Si 14, Si CR 14 4, and Si 16), nickel irons, and chrome irons.
Copper-based alloys
We can sand cast a range of copper-based alloys, including aluminium bronze, lead gun metals, silicon bronze, phosphor bronze, and others upon request.
